Carpe Diem #1399 The Beauty Of The Heart

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at a new episode of our wonderful Kai. This month we are exploring the beauty of the poetry by the Mystical Poet Rumi and today I have taken a poem from Masnavi: Teachings by Rumi. It's a wonderful collection of poems by Rumi translated by E.H. Whinfield.

The title I have extracted from the first line of the poem.

The Beauty Of The Heart:

The beauty of the heart
is the lasting beauty:
its lips give to drink
of the water of life.
Truly it is the water,
that which pours,
and the one who drinks.
All three become one when
your talisman is shattered.
That oneness you can't know
by reasoning.
